HighSchool are Melbourne duo Rory Trobbiani and Luke Scott, who made their mark with 2021's debut EP Forever at Last, showcasing their fresh take on lo-fi, new wave, goth and post-punk. After relocating to London, they immersed themselves in the live circuit, releasing singles including the Dan Carey-produced (Wet Leg, Fontains D.C., IDLES) Only a Dream and Italo-disco-tinged Colt, while steadily building a global fanbase. Their follow-up EP Accelerator via [PIAS] drew comparisons to Bar Italia, julie and (untitled) halo, and saw them tour with Sam Fender, Chvrches and Wunderhorse, alongside festival slots at SXSW, The Great Escape and All Points East. Now, with their long-awaited self-titled debut album, produced by Ben Hillier (Blur, Depeche Mode) and Finn Bellingham (Sam Akpro, Sunken), HighSchool deliver a vivid coming-of-age soundtrack.
