There's always a bunch of hustle in metropolitan areas, but within all that noise and rush you're able to find oases of calmness, as well. Hellkamp catches this restless spirit with a blend of groove, rock, alternative-hip-hop, jazz, blues and singer/songwriter moments. The four young musicians lead by singer and guitarist Kai Gutzeit come from Hamburg and Dresden. Guitars, (double)bass, drums and vocals create an urban, danceable and original unit, which, indeed, does not sound at all like the ghost station in Hamburg that gave the band it's name.
