The release of this album by Gianni Basso only few weeks after his passing way. A very well-known jazz musician both in Italy and abroad, Basso has collaborated with remarkable jazz ensembles such as Kenny Clarke and Francis Boland Big Band, Maynard Ferguson Big Band and Thad Jones Big Band. This album does not contain only Bossa Nova. It represents something more. It expresses a lifestyle, and in particular the Italian lifestyle of the 70s.
