D E C is the third 12 in a series of five, planned for conclusion in spring 2016 and subsequent collection as the VLSI album. Dystopia is a glitchy, breakbeat-influenced electro track with advanced sound design; Error take the darkness further - no drums, just the reverb of something large shimmering in black and infrared; Crash features a groovy 128-BPM bass drum and lots of cymbals and crashes. The series deals thematically with the very-large-scale integration process developed in the 1970s, which made possible the production of microprocessors and later music-production hardware and software. The cover art of the releases are details of integrated circuit layouts.
