The Ramones' hooks and progressions are still there, but the music has evolved beyond Punk Rock conventions, flirting with influences ranging from Rose Tattoo and MC5 to Hanoi Rocks and the Damned. Despite these comparisons, The Jolts remain a sound all their own.
