Bog Oak are a fuzz-drenched blackened doom outfit from California formed in May of 2013. Their debut EP A Treatise On Resurrection And The Afterlife consists of four allegories that pay as much homage to Black Sabbath and Hellhammer as they do to the metaphysics of Mulla Sadra, Suhrawardi's philosophy of illumination and the alchemy of Al-Ghazali.
