Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing in Tip-On jacket featuring original artwork. Second album from the groundbreaking and influential art-rock/new wave outfit produced by Gilles Martin and Peter Principle (Tuxedomoon). Originally from Tel-Aviv, Minimal Compact emerged into the European new-wave scene after relocating to Amsterdam in the early eighties. Their first self-titled 12 released in 1981 (and produced by Dick Polack of Mecano fame with Marc Hollander aka Aksak Maboul and founder of Crammed Records) was a refreshing take on contemporary new wave and post-punk. Prior to disbanding, in the Spring of 1988, Minimal Compact did a last, farewell tour in Europe, during which they recorded this live album in Rennes, the French city which had so warmly welcomed them very early on in their career.
