Magma's sixth studio album Üdü Wüdü was released in 1976. At the time, Jannick Top and Christian Vander were sharing leadership of the group. The albums is presented in two parts. The first side consists of five short pieces. The second side consists of two pieces including the eighteen minute De Futura composed by Top. The result is a monumental work that has achieved mythic status.
