Recorded June, 1957. Clora Bryant not only provides some driving bebop styled trumpet playing reminiscent of Dizzy Gillespie, but displays a very entertaining vocal style, as well. At the time of this recording she was performing regularly at the Oasis on Western Ave, with Eric Dolphy and Walter Benton.
